Stephani Otte serves as VP of Imaging Science at Biohub San Francisco and CZ Imaging Institute, where she leads the strategic direction and execution of the imaging grand challenge initiative and oversees imaging technology development and extramural initiatives. She develops comprehensive strategies and global partnerships aimed at understanding complex biological systems through advanced modeling and imaging technologies. Prior to her current executive role, Otte launched the Chan Zuckerberg Imaging Institute and served as Chair of the Board. She previously led the imaging program at CZI and served as Director of Science at Inscopix, a neurotechnology company.
A neuroscientist by training, Otte completed her doctoral work at the University of California, San Diego, and conducted postdoctoral research in systems neuroscience at the Salk Institute and the University of California, Berkeley.
